In a formal ceremony, DNAshells capsules, containing the texts of the Déclaration des Droits de l’Homme et du Citoyen de 1789 et de la Déclaration des droits de la Femme et de la Citoyenne de 1791* encoded by a team from the University of the Sorbonne and the CNRS, have been deposited in the National Archives. The Imagene capsules are thus kept in the famous “Iron chest” next to emblematic historical texts such as the testaments of Napoleon and Louis XIV.

* Declaration of the Rights of the Man and of the Citizen of 1789 and of the Declaration of the Rights of the Woman and of the Citizen of 1791
